Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within 100-mile radius of Fresno
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and real-time tracking
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance team promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks/dollies
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Fresno area and Central Valley geography
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Must pass background check and provide employment verification
