Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) following DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and dock equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time-sensitive freight requirements
- Participate in continuous safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and documentation
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A (provided through training)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Commitment to safety and professional conduct
- No DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
