Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles across regional routes with zero preventable accidents
- Execute timely deliveries while maintaining accurate documentation and electronic logging
- Inspect, maintain, and report on vehicle conditions per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Handle specialized freight including hazardous materials (with proper certification)
- Utilize advanced GPS and telematics systems for real-time route optimization
- Maintain professional relationships with clients at delivery points
- Participate in continuous safety training and equipment upgrades
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight shifts
