Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks and trailers to transport goods across the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with required endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex urban routes.
