Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain signatures upon successful drop-off.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance of the vehicle and keep the cab organized.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Complete and submit daily logs, mileage reports, and delivery paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records (MVR) review.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong knowledge of local Boston and Greater Massachusetts roadways and traffic patterns.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
