Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight trucks to transport goods between Honolulu and neighbor islands
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate delivery status and resolve route issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with Honolulu and neighbor island routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- DOT medical certification and clean background check
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility for weekend/evening shifts as needed
