Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport freight across regional and national routes.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in compliance with federal standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and local traffic laws and road conditions.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and sitting for extended periods.
