Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular events
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and ensure bus safety protocols
- Follow precise routes and schedules with punctuality
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff
- Complete accurate attendance and incident reports
- Respond calmly to emergency situations
- Assist students with special needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus endorsement (training provided if needed)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (training available)
- Ability to work flexible hours (mornings, afternoons, and field trips)
