Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight within Orlando metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system compliance
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Orlando area roadways and traffic patterns
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening as per DOT requirements
