Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and client locations
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency while meeting time-sensitive schedules
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with Denver metro area roadways
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and safety protocols
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (early morning, evening, weekend options)
- Pass background check and drug screening
