Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages and documents throughout Oakland and surrounding areas
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure punctual service
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status and route challenges
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle familiarity
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
