Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Build positive relationships with clients through professional interactions
- Adapt to changing delivery priorities and traffic conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation technology proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
