Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, dirt) to job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Load/unload materials using hydraulic controls and ensure proper weight distribution
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across Minneapolis metro area
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with metro Minneapolis routes and construction sites
- Physical capability to climb in/out of equipment and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong focus on safety and detail-oriented work ethic
