Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Transport materials including gravel, sand, asphalt, and demolition debris
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and safety documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and logistics coordinators
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with precision and efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and NM highways
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
