Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and related construction equipment at job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Transport construction materials (gravel, dirt, asphalt) to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch for efficient operations
- Assist in loading/unloading materials when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area roadways and construction sites
- Physical capability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
