Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and documents on strict schedules
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for all high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
