Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport time-sensitive packages and documents
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism
- Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance reporting
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems and real-time traffic updates
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull heavy items
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and surrounding suburbs
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must have reliable smartphone with data plan
