Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, documents, and time-sensitive deliveries across Charlotte and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems to ensure accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and timely updates
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Handle special delivery requirements with discretion and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in commercial or delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone delivery applications
- Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple deliveries
