Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and securing equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and mileage records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to resolve any issues.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or be willing to obtain one through our training program.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
