Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and records (DVIR, mileage, etc.) as required by DOT compliance.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and mechanical integrity.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently and adhere to time schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
