Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain during training
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and route planning
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights and weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic warehouse equipment
- Willingness to travel overnight (1-3 nights per week)
