Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials on assigned routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Document delivery details and resolve minor route discrepancies
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (training provided for candidates with permit)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
