Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling methods.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and status.
- Uphold our high standards of safety and company culture at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and adhere to safety protocols.
- Basic math and navigation skills are required.
