Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B trucks) to transport goods across New Mexico
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Respond professionally to delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) required
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
