Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) across Florida and Georgia routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device records
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or commitment to obtain through our training program)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and load documentation
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and occasional weekends
- Strong commitment to safety and professional conduct
- Willingness to travel within Florida and Georgia corridors
- High school diploma or equivalent required
