Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods while adhering to DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading and unloading procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Follow strict delivery schedules and communicate delays proactively
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
