Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and in pristine condition
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document maintenance logs to ensure DOT compliance
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time delivery tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system (ELD) compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient scheduling and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to DOT regulations
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging systems
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
