Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates across Houston metro sites
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and DOT documentation with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with site supervisors and dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and route efficiency
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies at all times
- Assist with basic loading/unloading operations when required at client sites
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding route changes, delays, or operational issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verified dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening per DOT regulations
- Proficient in operating hydraulic controls and understanding payload distribution
- Strong knowledge of Houston-area roadways, construction sites, and delivery protocols
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
