Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to designated job sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle compliance and safety
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of materials transported
- Adhere strictly to federal, state, and local traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Monitor vehicle performance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all CDL requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Reno area geography and transportation routes
- Pass DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards
