Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks on various job sites across the Lincoln metropolitan area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by Federal and State laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding route changes and delivery schedules.
- Keep the vehicle and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul trucks.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, road signs, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
