Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on designated routes across Louisville Metro area
- Load/unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and inventory procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and customer documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address client inquiries promptly
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize route efficiency to meet delivery timelines and fuel consumption targets
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and reroute when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with route familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Louisville/Kentucky geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening per DOT regulations
- Customer service mindset with professional communication skills
