Responsibilities
- Timely delivery of packages and goods to residential and commercial locations using company-provided vehicles
- Accurate navigation using GPS systems and adherence to delivery schedules
- Safe operation of delivery vehicles and compliance with traffic regulations
- Customer service interactions including package verification and issue resolution
- Maintaining delivery logs and reporting vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborating with dispatch team for route optimization
- Inventory management and secure handling of high-value items
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of DC/VA metropolitan area roadways
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for app-based dispatch
