Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to residential and commercial locations using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Load/unload merchandise with care, verifying order accuracy and documenting any discrepancies
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily safety inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle returns/exchanges professionally
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
- Utilize mobile apps for real-time tracking and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities for customer interactions
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
- Preferable: DOT medical certification or willingness to obtain
