Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food orders to designated locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency using GPS technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues
- Ensure temperature-controlled items remain properly stored during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (commercial or personal)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Knowledge of San Antonio metropolitan area preferred
