Responsibilities
- Safe Operations: Operate the vehicle in a safe and legal manner at all times, adhering to traffic laws and delivery routes.
- Customer Service: Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in the correct location.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage logs accurately and on time.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate GPS systems effectively.
