Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while navigating the city.
- Inspect vehicle before and after routes to ensure cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Interact professionally with customers, obtaining signatures and ensuring satisfaction.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage to items.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.
- Handle cash or card transactions and reconcile daily earnings.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
- Able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Must have a reliable smartphone for route management and communication.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle checks is a plus.
