Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Efficiently navigate Los Angeles routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Verify delivery accuracy and maintain secure handling of packages
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Document delivery status and resolve delivery discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns
- Reliable smartphone with GPS navigation capabilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
