Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Navigate San Diego’s streets professionally to ensure packages are delivered to the correct destination safely and within the promised timeframe.
- Customer Service Excellence: Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, handling packages with care and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and electronic paperwork using our mobile delivery app.
- Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize packages in the delivery van, adhering to safety protocols.
- Route Planning: Optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption while adhering to traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid Class C California Driver’s License is mandatory.
- Clean Driving Record: A clean DMV record with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using a smartphone for GPS navigation and digital delivery management systems.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and write English effectively.
- Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently.
