Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
- Obtain proper signatures and proof of delivery for all items.
- Inspect delivery vehicle for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after each shift.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions professionally and resolving any delivery issues.
- Navigate complex routes using GPS and mapping software efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure items arrive in perfect condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Current auto insurance and registration.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must have a reliable smartphone with data access for route management.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
