Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated destinations on time.
- Unload and organize merchandise at delivery sites while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle payments, and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork as required by company policy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for entry-level.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50-100 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate efficiently in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills for handling digital delivery logs and receipts.
- Must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.
