Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within the Washington DC metro area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling packages with care and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transit.
- Utilize mapping apps and route planning tools to optimize delivery times.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and ensure the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Collect payments and process paperwork accurately when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions in the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle (Sedan, Van, or Cargo Van) in good working condition.
- Smartphone capable of running GPS navigation apps.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with dispatch and customers.
