Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Columbus metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon package receipt
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes for efficient delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintain organized cargo areas
- Adhere to company policies regarding delivery procedures and vehicle operation
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to/from depot (if applicable)
