Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries across all five boroughs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pickups
- Maintain accurate delivery records through our mobile app
- Perform pre-trip vehicle safety inspections
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch in real-time
- Assist with inventory management at distribution hubs
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and app usage
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of NYC boroughs and landmarks
- Pass background check and drug screening
- No previous commercial driving experience required
- Reliable transportation to our Manhattan depot
