Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Raleigh-area routes efficiently
- Load/unload packages with attention to detail and proper handling
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Optimize routes for timely delivery across Wake County
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to/from dispatch center
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
