Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and freight to designated addresses in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and recipients.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and cleanliness.
- Accurately record delivery information using handheld mobile devices and electronic logs.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secure and undamaged during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to read and write in English.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
