Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to customers across Fort Worth and surrounding areas
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service, including handling inquiries and resolving delivery issues
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delays and reroute when necessary
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Fort Worth streets and surrounding neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
