Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated customer locations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring all items are secured and free from damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain electronic or physical signatures, and communicate with customers professionally.
- Plan the most efficient routes to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues with a focus on high-quality service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
