Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Charlotte metro area safely and on time.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures where necessary.
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure cleanliness and proper mechanical function.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and mobile apps to track and update delivery status.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with customers.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring items are handled with care.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C or Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable smartphone with internet access for route navigation.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
