Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and road knowledge to ensure timely delivery to customer locations in Arlington and surrounding areas.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon receipt to guarantee accurate drop-offs.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle inside and out, performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of the driver, passengers, and the general public.
- Manage delivery paperwork accurately, including logs, invoices, and expense reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major moving violations within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the workday.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries and managing electronic paperwork.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
