Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Oakland
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and challenges
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be at least 21 years old with reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
